Our Origin
Power Foundation was established in 2021 as a non-profit organization. Power Foundation was founded by Dr. Mohamed Jahir Hussain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Power Group of Companies. The Foundation aims to provide various platforms for individuals and social groups to empower themselves and to contribute to the empowerment of society. One can be beneficiary and contributor at a time by sharing resources, professional skill and financial support. We focus on livelihood, housing, health, entrepreneurship, and disaster management.

For what I am today and whatever I have earned during the last 25 years of entrepreneurship and as a Businessman, I owe a lot the society. And therefore, I feel it’s my humble obligation to give back to society and to the needy people a rightful share of it. Having kept myself away from the day-to-day business activities of Power Group of Companies, I could devote more time to engage in charitable and social welfare activities, which helped to reinforce my strong belief that “Giving back is among the most important and valuable things an entrepreneur can do to society”.
Our purpose in establishing a charity foundation was to offer support and assistance to poor people and needy families, as an acknowledgment of our gratitude to God Almighty who has showered us with infinite blessings.
